Apparently, My Work Scares Guido
From a recent article on Guido's blog:
Sometimes people think that it's a compliment when Guido says things like that, but I find it frustrating, especially since his feedback tends to be like the infamous Emperor's remarks to Mozart: it's good, he seems to be saying, but there are just too many notes. I say this not to compare myself to Mozart, but only to point out that the feedback similarly communicates only a vague displeasure, with no clear path to improving anything. Ah well.
And the word middleware (just like much of Phillip Eby's work, alas) scares me.Apparently, however, I'm not the only one:
I saw the last entries about Nevow (a templating system in Twisted) and it scared the hell out of me.So I guess that means Donovan and friends are scarier than I am. :)
